Tesla & Uber
High-voltage connector design at Tesla. Power-electronics, thermal design, and suspension concepts for Uber's micromobility e-bikes and e-scooters.
At Tesla I designed high-voltage connectors for the Megapack, the utility-scale battery storage system. The work sits right at the mechanical/electrical boundary: connectors that have to carry serious current, survive their environment, and go together reliably at production volume.
With Uber's micromobility group I worked across the e-bike and e-scooter platforms: thermal design for the power electronics, bicycle-wheel design for the micromobility e-bike, and early suspension concepts for a commuter e-bike. The common thread is packaging real mechanical and thermal engineering into products built to be ridden hard by the public and maintained at fleet scale.
